Your pool filter is the heart of your water circulation system. It pulls in dirty water, traps debris and particles, and sends clean water back into the pool. Without a working filter, your pool would turn cloudy and green within days no matter how much chlorine you add.

But here is the problem. Filters get clogged over time. Dirt, oils, and debris build up inside the cartridge or sand, which reduces water flow and cleaning power. When that happens, your pump has to work harder, your water quality drops, and you end up with higher energy bills.

Types of Pool Filters

How We Clean Your Filter

Filter cleaning is not complicated, but it does take the right tools and experience. We start by checking the pressure gauge to see if the filter is overdue for maintenance. Then we shut off the pump, open the filter housing, and remove the cartridge or inspect the sand.

For cartridge filters, we rinse each pleat thoroughly to remove trapped dirt and oils. If the cartridge is old or damaged, we recommend replacing it. For sand filters, we backwash the system to flush out debris. For DE filters, we clean the grids and recharge them with fresh powder.
